Vincent Liu joined DIF in 2016 and was appointed to partner on the 1st of October 2022. Based in Toronto, Vincent co-heads DIF’s North American activities and is one of DIF’s sector specialists in renewable energy, energy transition, and digital infrastructure. Prior to joining DIF, Vincent worked with the North American infrastructure group at Macquarie Capital, the advisory and principal investment division of Macquarie Group, and the infrastructure investment banking group at BMO Capital Markets where he was primarily responsible for advising North American and international public and private sector clients in M&A and financing mandates. Vincent holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Vincent served in the Canadian Navy.
