Our culture

We maintain an open, collaborative and respectful company culture to bring the very best out of our people. A flat organisational hierarchy offers plenty of scope for autonomy and entrepreneurialism, while encouraging the contrasting views and perspectives we believe result in a more creative, adaptive and incisive way of achieving our strategic goals.

At DIF we have a diverse, inclusive and inspiring working environment for all employees. We work hard to create a fulfilling working environment enabling personal fulfilment and development. We encourage an inclusive culture where people can be themselves, are valued for their strengths and are empowered to be the best they can be. As a global organisation with an increasingly mobile and flexible workforce, we also support different ways of working offering flexible working arrangements.

How we work

A global diverse business working as one

DIF is a unified team, and is more than a group of talented individuals located in different countries worldwide. We work closely together following the same investment philosophy, setting ourselves the same high standards and sharing the same entrepreneurial mindset.

Opportunities

Opportunity is at the heart of our culture. We provide our people with the opportunity to take responsibility and make decisions. To access the tools they need to develop and get the best out of themselves. And to propose fresh ideas that will help our business to evolve and grow.

Balance

We value our people based on what they achieve. So, while we work hard and to the highest of standards, we also understand the importance of a healthy work/life balance, offering a number of initiatives that support our employees in making that a reality.

Career development

We are very supportive when it comes to the training and development of our team. We regularly discuss training needs with our people, including as part of our yearly review process. We have a training curriculum to support this, which contains 4 types of trainings: technical hard skills, generic hard skills, soft skills and DIF specific trainings. While we seek to ensure that people are suitably qualified and experienced, we encourage people to be proactive in proposing training that will help them in the development of their careers.
