Career development

We are very supportive when it comes to the training and development of our team. We regularly discuss training needs with our people, including as part of our yearly review process. We have a training curriculum to support this, which contains 4 types of trainings: technical hard skills, generic hard skills, soft skills and DIF specific trainings. While we seek to ensure that people are suitably qualified and experienced, we encourage people to be proactive in proposing training that will help them in the development of their careers.

Associate (Director) Asset Management

The Associate (Director) will be part of DIF’s global asset management team and his/her responsibilities will focus on the assets in the Benelux portfolio. DIF is currently raising and investing two more funds, which will result in a higher number of assets under management. This new associate (director) position is in response to growth of the overall portfolio. He/she will be working alongside multiple investors and stakeholders. The individual will influence and take action with the aim to achieve the best possible outcome for the investors in the DIF funds. Daily activities include assisting on asset optimizations (such as refinancings, restructurings, add-on investments) and asset sales at the end of a fund’s term. Furthermore, he/she will be fulfilling board positions, visiting sites, managing the operational and commercial risks associated with these investments and overseeing all aspects of the performance of the investment.

Associate Investor Relations & Business Development

The Associate will be working in the Investor Relations & Business Development (IR&BD) team. The funds managed by DIF are developed and raised by the in-house IR&BD team, with the support of the rest of the organisation. In light of the increasing assets under management, there is need for an Associate in the team. The Associate will primarily support the team across multiple activities including product development, market studies, portfolio analyses, institutional business development, fundraising, co-investments, investor relations and marketing. You will be based at Schiphol. The role will have a global coverage of DIF’s activities.
