Career development

We are very supportive when it comes to the training and development of our team. We regularly discuss training needs with our people, including as part of our yearly review process. We have a training curriculum to support this, which contains 4 types of trainings: technical hard skills, generic hard skills, soft skills and DIF specific trainings. While we seek to ensure that people are suitably qualified and experienced, we encourage people to be proactive in proposing training that will help them in the development of their careers.

HR – Learning & Development Associate

Due to our rapid growth we are looking to expand the HR team in the Netherlands with a Learning & Development Associate. The L&D Associate will be, together with the L&D Manager, responsible for further building out L&D initiatives within DIF. As the Learning & Development function is currently being set up and established, this is an exciting time to join the team. We are currently building the curriculum and sourcing a supplier for a Learning Management System, that then needs to be implemented in 2022. In addition to the Learning and Development role, you will support in other HR activities related to the employee lifecycle. CDD Specialist

The CDD Specialist will be responsible for the identification and mitigation of integrity risks, as part of DIF’s first line supporting the client-facing teams with their CDD needs. In the role you will perform detailed CDD and assess the money laundering, fraud, sanctions and terrorist financing risks of new and existing customers. Should your investigation identify a potential risk, then you objectively determine and advise on whether such risk stand in the way of a relationship with DIF. You will occasionally have direct contact with DIF’s diverse international “customers”, which are professional investors, co-shareholders, buyers and sellers of our investments, and other business relations. You will also have continuous contact with various colleagues across the globe.

The CDD team is a five-person team based in Schiphol with a hands-on mentality as part of the first line supporting the Investments, Investor Relations & Business Development and Exit teams based around the world as well as supporting CDD on DIF and its funds. Investment Analyst

The Analyst will be working in the Investment team and will take ownership of relevant aspects during each phase of the origination and investment process up to closing and beyond, with a focus on buy-side transaction execution. In short, daily activities include analysing investment markets, legal, technical and financial data, developing financial models, preparing investment committee proposals, reviewing and processing contract documentation and management of investments in the portfolio. The large majority of DIF’s investments are made outside the Netherlands. When working in the Schiphol team at least 75% of the projects on which the successful candidate will work will be located outside the Benelux. Analysts are expected to work on both the DIF VI and CIF II investment strategies.
