Responsible Investment

DIF believes that responsible investing requires recognizing certain principles associated with environmental, social and governance ("ESG") issues. We believe that these principles are embodied in de United Nations Principles for Responsible Investing ("UNPRI"), to which DIF has become a signatory.

We believe that these initiatives will ultimately benefit our investors through investments in ways that minimize environmental impact, the promotion of reasonable treatment for all stakeholders, and ensuring appropriate governance. We also believe that embracing ESG matters enhances the reputation of asset management, which will benefit the industry and our investors. Consequently, it is DIF’s policy to apply these Principles to our own investment practices, and we will encourage those with whom we invest to adopt them as well. It is our policy to engage our managers on these issues during due diligence and through subsequent monitoring.
